Description
Telescoping Pole
Parelli Pole – telescoping precision tool for subtle signals (extends up to 3.7 m)
The Parelli Pole is one of Pat’s most popular tools: highly versatile and extendable up to 3.7 m. You can also attach a flag or a rustling bag to it. The Pole is a true precision instrument, so it requires specific handling.
Using the Parelli Pole
The Pole is a tool for refinement. Treat it accordingly. Most importantly: never place it on the ground. Dirt can quickly get into the Pole and affect the telescoping function. The Pole is also not suitable for firmly touching a horse; it is designed for subtle signals. It is a perfect tool for suggesting something to your horse and directing it with light, refined aids.
How to extend the Pole correctly
- Before extending it for the first time, remove the brown protective cap at the top end.
- Gently shake the Pole downward; the telescoping sections will extend on their own.
- Important: do not remove the black protective cap at the bottom end, otherwise the Pole will come apart.
